I wanted to play every evening this week, and I've played a couple of tunes this today, but my heart isn't in it. Missing my fan –
it’s a long week without him. I was hopeful that playing would lift my spirits,
as it has before, but not this time. I’m going to sit on the sofa and listen to
Smalltalk and Ossian.
